Description: Slender annual with weak stems 230-60 cm high. Sheaths hairy. Panicles to 15 cm long. Spikelets 2 cm long excluding awns and with six or more florets. Glumes broad, hairless and awnless. Awn of lemma wavy and to 11 mm long.
