Habitat: Rocky and stoney, but good soil between stones. Full sun on a west facing hill.

Description: Erect plant to 42 cm high; single to multiple branches with flower at the end of a long peduncle, up to 21 cm long. Involucre-phyllaries, two rows about same length (1x4x4.5 mm); inner row rooted between achenes of ray flowers. Achene 1x2 mm.
