Description:
Stalked spikelets neuter, small and narrower stalkless panicles terminating in main stems 6-10 cm long; glumes broad and blunt; basal cluster of leaves and stems 5-8 cm tall; leaves, stems and spikelets hairless with whitish waxy coating.
