Well drained, N facing, clay slope. Among othr Poaceae; in a small colony (6-7 plants). Full sun.
Description:
Tufted perennial, w/o creeping/looping stolens. Culms 10-30 cm tall, w/only 2 node elevated above basal cluster of leaves. Blades thick, narrow, flat, glabrous, 2-3+ cm long, 1.5-2 mm broad, abruptly pointed, but not spinescent. Infloresence a contracted raceme, 2-4 cm long, w/4-9 spikelets.
