The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center wishes to thank the you for your support of the 4th annual Goblins In the Garden event. Over 1,460 people enjoyed spooky fun activities on the grounds and gardens of this community event this past Sunday, October 25th, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., celebrating Halloween with a Trail of Bones scavenger hunt, pumpkin carving demonstrations, visiting Botanica the Herbal Witch in our Haunted Tower, and fall crafting. Many families dressed up in Halloween costumes for this event, from the cute and cuddly to tall and not-so-scary.
We also had a wonderful Scarecrow Contest for folks to enjoy, with scarecrows on exhibit for the past three weeks in the gardens of the Wildflower Center.
