Our unique native plant gardens are designed to inspire, to educate and to demonstrate the sustainable use and conservation of native wildflowers, plants and landscapes.
In the Courtyard, shady places created by tree canopies complement open areas in garden designs appropriate for building-dominated spaces.

The Courtyard is the central gathering place at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Around its perimeter is the Gift Store, public restrooms, vending machines, the Cafe and Visitor's Gallery.
A simulated Hill Country spring, the Courtyard Spring, reminiscent of the Blue Hole in Wimberly, Texas occupies the center of the Courtyard.
