Tauscher, Joseph Allan

In the late 1970's Allan Tauscher accepted a teaching job in Cochabamba, Bolivia. He bought a 35mm Nikon Nikkormat camera to take with him. He still has that camera. He bought his first digital camera around 1999 but it lasted only a couple of years.

Recently, he has started hiking on Sunday's at a nearby state park. While hiking, he decided to start taking pictures again.

He says, "It is amazing the new things you see from one week to the next. On the trails, the things that change the most are the plants and insects (not always for the good in the insect category!). So each week I usually come across new images."
