Photographer's note: "Golden canna is native to the very southern U.S. In the Brunswick, Georgia area, it is most likely seen along tidally influenced freshwater stream and ditches. It is not overly common. I've wanted to photograph the species ever since I located the colonies five years ago but could never find them in good bloom. On this recent trip they were spectacular bloom. "
