Here are some suggestions for native vines for shade in Riverside County, California:

Clematis ligusticifolia (Western white clematis) grows in sun, part shade and shade.

Keckiella cordifolia (Heartleaf keckiella) grows in sun and part shade. Here are photos and more information.
